How do I return a product?

If purchased on the Argos Business Hub

For items purchased on the Argos Business Hub there are two different returns options available to you, depending on the product you are looking to return.

Collect Plus

If the item that you are looking to return is under 10kg and has maximum dimensions of 60x60x50cm then you can return it for FREE with Collect Plus.

You will need the following information to hand

  • Purchase Order details (this is a mandatory field and is case sensitive; an incorrect PO number could delay your credit)

Customer Management Centre

If the item you are returning is over 10kg and has dimensions that exceed 60x50x50cm then you can arrange a return by contacting our customer Management Centre team at 0345 266 0255.

You will need the following information to:

  • PO Number
  • Order Reference Number/Delivery Order Number
  • Billing Address (and Delivery Address if different)
  • Details of why you are returning the item

The option available for returns is:

  • Book a time and date for product collection by Argos Fleet services.
  • Argos for Business will book in a time and date for collection.
  • Argos for Business will send you a waybill to you to be passed on to the client and attached to the product to be returned
  • The time and date of collection will allow time for the waybill to be passed on to the recipient.
  • the time and date will be communicated with the recipient via SMS

Refunds will be processed upon Argos receipt of the item. Credit will be applied within 24 hours of the refund.

Can a product be exchanged if it doesn't work?

This depends on how the order was placed. Just contact us on 0345 266 0255 to discuss with us. If an exchange is not possible, we can arrange a return of your item, and will credit your account once we have received and processed your return. At any point, you may order a new product.

If you/your recipient has had it for more than 30 days…up to 12 months

We’ll assess what’s wrong and then, if possible, we may arrange for it to be repaired. If it’s faulty, we’ll fix it, or give you all or some of your money back depending on how long the product might reasonably be expected to last. But after 6 months we might need proof that it was faulty at the time when it was delivered.

We’re afraid wear and tear isn’t included.

If you require a replacement, please contact to arrange a collection and then purchase a new one through the HUB. We will then credit you back once the item is returned to us. This new order will be credited from your account, and the refund for the initial item will be placed upon Argos’ receipt of the item. Credit will be applied within 24 hours of the refund.

How do I return a product?

When a product needs to be returned, where purchased/collected from a Argos store or store in store you need to return your item to any Argos store.

You will need the following information to hand:

  • Proof of purchase - receipt when needed
  • Business Account Card

The option available for return is:

Return the item to a store with your Argos receipt and your refund will be processed immediately. The credi will be applied to your account within 24 hours of the refund.

Can a product be exchanged if it doesn't work?

Yes, if a product doesn’t work let your local store know and we will look to repair, exchange or refund the item for you..

If you/your recipient has had it less than 30 days…

Your local store will happily return or exchange the item. If the item is faulty, they’ll get the choice of a repair, replacement or refund.

If you/your recipient has had it for more than 30 days…up to 12 months

We’ll assess what’s wrong and then, if possible, we may arrange for it to be repaired.

The process for a product exchange is identical to the process for a product return except with a new order for a replacement item being made.

This new order will be credited from your account, and the refund for the initial item will be placed upon Argos’ receipt of the item.
